Did you know that there are a number of apps on the market for different health conditions, many being free to use?
Are you a supporter of or sceptical about digital apps helping to keep you healthy and well?
Working with the Health Foundry, the Patient Participation Group Network invites you to an interactive and fun evening to experience digital apps for yourself and explore the benefits for yourself and patients from your practice. Below are some of the apps that will be demonstrated on the day:
Mental Snapp – a video diary app to help patients manage their mental health
Better Points – an app that will give people real-world rewards for adopting a healthy lifestyle.
Remote Health Tech – uses wearable technology and remote monitoring to help patients with Atrial Fibrillation manage their condition.
LiveSmart – offers a range of assessments that looks at every aspect of a patient’s health and wellness.
ClubSoda – an online programmes and community to help people cut down, stop for a bit or quit drinking alcohol.
Path Finder Path Finder – is a shoe attachment that provides visual cues to help people with unsteady and irregular gait, like Parkinson’s disease.
Come along and find out the apps, try them and talk to the developers. You DO NOT have to be computer savvy to attend! Light refreshments will be provided
