NHS England is running a Understanding the Health and Social Care Environment training course in the spring for volunteers who have an interest in understanding the health and social care environment or who are involved in community health improvement initiatives.
The course will equip people with knowledge to recognise the key stakeholders in the health and social care system in England and understand how to use appropriate tools and methods to influence them.
This 30 hour course is online over 12 weeks and has one full day face-to-face assessment session at the end.
The course commences on 20 February and there is another round starting on 20 March 2018. Deadline for application is 15 January 2018.
Places for this course are limited and will be given on a first come first served basis. Participants are asked to pay a £50 deposit to the course provider to secure a place. The deposit is refunded on completion of the course.
