Mental Health Awareness Week

Between 14 – 20 May is Mental Health Awareness week. The theme this year is stress. Stress is the feeling of not being able to cope when you are under too much mental or emotional pressure. Whilst a bit of stress is normal, too much can take its toll.

Research shows that two thirds of us will experience a mental health problem in our lifetimes. Stress is believed to be a big factor in this. Learning to cope and reduce stress can go a long way to tackle anxiety and depression.
