The General Osteopathic Council has launched a consultation of the Osteopathic Practice Standards and would like to hear your views on whether the standards could be improved.
They are seeking feedback on the updated standards from a broad range of stakeholders, including osteopaths, patients, osteopathic organisations and other healthcare professionals.
2017 marks five years since the Osteopathic Practice Standards were first published, and it is important that they continue to work for osteopaths to continue delivering high quality care.
Between now and the end of October you can visit their website http://standards.osteopathy.org.uk to comment on the updated standards. Alternatively you download the consultation form from the site and email us your responses at: email@example.com. Hard copies of the review are also available on request from firstname.lastname@example.org
The closing date for views is 31 October 2017.
All feedback they receive will allow them to develop the final version of the updated Osteopathic Practice Standards which will be published in 2018, and will come into effect from September 2019.
