Closing date: Sunday 26 November 2017
The health and social care regulator, Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) State of Care in Mental Health Services Report (2014-2017) states that a number of Mental Health Wards contain dormitory accommodation (where a dormitory is defined as a mental health ward with two or more beds).
This survey from the CQC is to gain an insight into the experiences of people who have had experience with dormitory accommodation.
- If you have had experience in a mental health ward that was not dormitory accommodation they would still like to hear from you.
- They would also be keen to hear the views of family members and carers of people who have stayed on dormitory wards.
- The information shared with the CQC will help them develop the way it inspects and rates mental health services. They will not share your experiences with any other organisations.
