Healthwatch Lambeth is an award-winning Brixton based health and social care charity that works to ensure that everyone’s health and wellbeing needs, are heard, understood and met. We do this by being a trusted source of insight into people’s experiences of health and care services.
We are seeking a full-time Communications and Liaison Officer to maintain and develop the external profile of Healthwatch Lambeth among Lambeth residents and develop the internal communications links and processes with our members.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced communications and marketing professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate successfully with specific segments of our audience and develop relationships with a diverse range of partners.
You will have the ability to create engaging newsletter content, strategic knowledge of social media platforms and have innovative ideas of how to reach new audiences, as well as an insight into managing and motivating volunteers and facilitating consultation events with the community.
Location:The role will be based at the Healthwatch Lambeth office in Brixton. Some local travel will be involved.

Hours: 37.5 per week
