We are recruiting for a Volunteer Coordinator who will assist us in making sure that we are engaging with Lambeth people.
As an experienced volunteer coordinator, you will manage the volunteer programme which includes recruitment and providing training and support to all volunteers. The postholder will promote volunteering opportunities widely to people living and working in Lambeth to ensure that our potential volunteers represent the diversity of the borough, building relationships with relevant community groups and organisations to support your work. You will also identify relevant training and support for our volunteers.
You will work with the Engagement Team and the Communications and Outreach Officer to identify volunteering opportunities.
The purpose of the job is to promote and manage volunteering in Healthwatch Lambeth and to oversee the recruitment, training and support to all our volunteers. .

This is a part-time post (20.5 hours per week) with a salary of £31,000 per annum (pro-rata - £16,946.67) and 26 annual days entitlement (pro-rata). You will be based in Brixton, London with some local travel and evening work.
