Healthwatch Lambeth is an award-winning Brixton based health and social care charity that works to ensure that everyone’s health and wellbeing needs, are heard, understood and met. We do this by being a trusted source of insight in-to people’s experiences of health and care services. In 2016 we agreed to host a five-year partnership initiative, Black Thrive, which aims to reduce race inequalities in the local mental health system.
We are now seeking a full-time Administration and Finance Officer to work across Healthwatch Lambeth and Black Thrive, supporting us to maximise the impact of our local research on public service policy makers, commissioners and providers by ensuring the smooth running of Healthwatch Lambeth’s office. This pivotal role would suit an experienced and reliable administrator with knowledge of book keeping, managing office systems and HR processes and supporting events who is willing to work flexibly and support both Healthwatch and Black Thrive programmes.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude who is able to work from their own initiative and act as the administrative hub for the organisation. Location: The role will be based at the Healthwatch Lambeth office in Brixton. Some local travel will be involved. Hours: 37.5 per week with some evening work
Benefits: 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension contribution
