    Over the past year, we have been working with Lambeth Council on a project looking into how home care can be improved. The aim was to use design approaches to find ways for home care to be more joined up with other services and to empower people.

    We spoke to women who gave birth at King's during lockdown to explore in more depth how mothers have been affected by the pandemic focusing on their experiences of maternity care services during pregnancy, birth, and the early postnatal period.

    Healthwatch across south-east London are aware of the sale in Feb 2021 by AT Medics of 8 GP surgeries to Operose Health, owned by US private healthcare company Centene Corporation, and the media interest this has generated.

    Following a successful recruitment process, local Healthwatch in south east London have established a Patient Group to provide the added value of patient and public experience through a regional lens.

    Healthwatch' new research explores vaccine confidence amongst people from African, Bangladeshi, Caribbean, and Pakistani backgrounds. We want to understand these barriers to ensure key lessons are taken forward for future public health campaigns.
