Cancer Diagnosis Tests - King's College Hospital Wants Your Help

Trust wants to talk to the public about their information and support needs when attending hospital tests for a possible cancer diagnosis
KCH

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust wants to hear from members of the local community to discover what information and support they want when visiting one of its hospitals for a possible cancer diagnosis.

The trust would like to understand how to better support people if they are referred to King’s by their GP for hospital tests and are worried they may have cancer. Some people don't attend these tests and many have concerns about what might happen next.

While most won't have cancer, a small number do, and it's important to speak to members of the public about what would help during these hospital visits regardless of the outcome. King's College Hospital would therefore like to hear from Lambeth residents, particularly those from communities who may be more likely to miss out on care, including some of our Afro-Caribbean communities, older people, carers and people with existing mental health needs or learning disabilities.
