Take part in the BRAVE project – Black women’s experiences of care for fibroids and endometriosis in Lambeth
Are you a Black woman affected by fibroids and/or endometriosis? Healthwatch Lambeth want to connect with you for our new project.
The project aims to better understand Black women’s awareness of these conditions, as well as their experiences of diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care, and how these can improve.
Healthwatch Lambeth warmly invite all Black women that have a Lambeth GP or access Lambeth services to take part. All comments are anonymous and will play a vital role in shaping better care for all women.
To get involved or learn more, please contact the project lead, Anna D’Agostino, at anna.dagostino@healthwatchlambeth.org.uk.
Fibroids are non-cancerous growths that develop in and around the womb (uterus). Endometriosis is where cells similar to those in the lining of the womb (uterus) grow in other parts of the body.
