Covid boosters now available to carers, pregnant women and over 65s in Lambeth

Our Annual Report for 2021-2022 is out now! See how your feedback on health and social care services in Lambeth helped us influence local providers and make services better.

Young people told us about challenges during their transition to adult mental health services. This led to the recruitment of transition workers to help coordinate their support, ensuring services are responsive to their needs.

Our work with Lambeth's social care teams addressed the delays in assessing the health needs of children in care. This has led to a 50% increase in the number of children being assessed on time.

Most people leave it too late to make their wishes known. Our work on advance care planning gives local people and services the tools they need to talk about the care and treatment that’s right for them.

In May 2021, 1,501 people told the Joint Programme for Patient, Carer and Public Involvement in COVID Recovery how they felt about using NHS services during the pandemic, now, and in the future.

Healthwatch' new research explores vaccine confidence amongst people from African, Bangladeshi, Caribbean, and Pakistani backgrounds. We want to understand these barriers to ensure key lessons are taken forward for future public health campaigns.

Following a successful recruitment process, local Healthwatch in south east London have established a Patient Group to provide the added value of patient and public experience through a regional lens.
