    New research for CQC shows people in Greater London regret not raising concerns about their care – but those who do raise concerns see improvements.

    We are running a national survey to ask people’s views on how local NHS services could be improved through the NHS Long Term Plan.

    The trust was rated ‘requires improvement’ for being safe, effective, responsive and well-led. It was rated ‘good’ for being caring, following the inspection in January and February 2019. Their previous overall rating was also ‘requires improvement'.

    In September and October we’re carrying out Enter and View visits into three care homes that are providing block contract beds for Lambeth Council. This will support Lambeth Council’s improvement plans for the care homes.

    A number of Lambeth residents have voiced their concern that proposals for "Our Healthier South East London", the regional coordinator of the national NHS Long Term Plan. People worry that proposals will have a major impact on Lambeth's autonomy.

    Over the past year, we have been working with Lambeth Council on a project looking into how home care can be improved. The aim was to use design approaches to find ways for home care to be more joined up with other services and to empower people.
